Snake Skin Socks
This is my second pair for April. They are the Snake Skin (or Scales Skin) sock pattern, a previous selection on the Six Sox KAL. I used Handpainted Opal and 2.5 mm Addi Turbos, 2s2c. These were a lunch break project at work, since the pattern is very easy to follow. They practically knit themselves. I like how the varying colors seem to be highlighted with this stitch. The socks are very stretchy, too.

They look wonderful! I think I have to knit those too.
Those are absolutely wonderful. They do look like snake skins!
Cool socks. Did you put rattles in them too? Or would that scare the people you want to get close to?
Where can the pattern be found? Kind of want to try it.
I really like the colors! Very nice!
I love the color and the pattern. Your socks are very pretty! Where did you say the pattern is located? Would you mind sharing the link? Thanks.
As I said in the post, the pattern is from the Six Sox KAL. That is a Yahoo group than you can join. (Right now there are over 3300 members!) The link to the group is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Six_Sox_Knitalong/
You would have to join the group, and then you will have access to the files of many patterns. This one was from August 2006.
It's a great group. You should check it out!
