First Pair of Socks for July!

I want to thank http://www.geocities.com/kdpammi/JackSparrowSocks.pdf for the GREAT skull and crossbones graph that I used for these socks.

I have looked high and low for a good skull graph--most look silly. These socks are for my husband (you know--Boring Sock Lover #1). He has officially declared me a genius, and that these are his all-time favorite socks! (I am having a hard time convincing him to take them off long enough to wash them).

I used KnitPicks Bare (70% merino, 30% silk) for the skull design and some black fingering weight wool that has haunted my stash for I don't know how long for the main color. I used my own basic sock pattern.

Those are really nice! I'm sure I'll be making some for my boys in the years to come. :)
