Yeah, I'm in.

Thank you so much Knitting Mom for letting me join. I'm getting really into KALs at the moment. I started a pair of socks yesterday. It's my own design and they're knitted with Posh Yarn Cashmere which is just gorgeous to knit with. The pattern is called 'Socks with a twist' and there is a pic of the first pair in the side bar on my blog. I'm reknitting them to make some changes and check my pattern and when I'm sorted it'll go on my website as a free pattern and toe up sock tutorial.
Here's the toe on my new socks:

Talking of toe up socks, anyone seen February's MagKnits yet? The 'Falling in Love' sock pattern is mine adn its the first (and not the last I hope) sock pattern I've had published. It was created in a bit of a hurry just before Christmas and a huge thank you goes to Barbara W from Sock Knitters Forum for testknitting it very quickly for me. It includes instructions for toe up socks and two heel versions. Let me know what you all think. Here's the original socks and a pair of pink ones I knitted in January for me. The blue ones in the pattern were given to my Grandmother in Norway for Christmas.

I printed this pattern off today, and it's in my to-do pile, very soon. I love it! I especially like the short row and normal heel options, as I haven't conquered short row heels yet. :)

Thank you. I knitted them first with short row heels and then decided to try gusset/heel flap. Which I've only done once before on a toe up sock with not too much success. But this time the formula just clicked. I need the gusset for my sock as I have a high instep. But short row heels are much quicker.
