Minis for May
I've been struggling this month for a pair of socks. I started Pomatomus socks and got to the heel and frogged. That nearly killed me. Then I couldn't find a sock pattern to go with my yarn and now, two days from the end of the month, I'm about five inches into a pair of toe ups. But! I did manage a pair of mini socks. They would fit an infant (if I knew one, or if the second sock wasn't so homely) and they are basic toe-up socks with a short row heel. Here you can see my bear Julian rockin' these tiny socks.
Like he needs any with his fur and this heat!
Specifics:
Pattern: Basic toe-up, two on a circ, magic loop (magic cast on)
Yarn: My own superwash merino, handdyed, a test skein for my Etsy store, 9grams
Needles: US 1s, Knitpicks circs
