My first pair!

I'm new to this group...because I'm new to sock knitting! Here is my very first pair, off the needles on June 2nd. They are made from Tofutsies 720 "Sweep You Off Your Feet," done on four #2 DPNs. The pattern is the "Baby Cable Rib" from Sensational Knitted Socks. I am very proud!

You should be proud! They look fabulous - and they seem to fit like a glove. ;) So how do you like the yarn? I haev a skein of it in Tenderfoot (hot pink, purple, black, and white). I have yet to use it since I've been catching up on other socks that I'm knitting for other people. I hope that you like the socks and the yarn - the colors are gorgeous and the pattern looks like so much fun. Congrats, again. You deserve to be the recipient of a beautiful pair of handknit socks. You'll become addiction, btw. :)

Toe-tally fabulous first pair of socks :). I love the baby cable rib. How did you like tofutsies?

Thanks to everyone for their kind words of encouragement. I am hooked on this sock-knitting thing now!

I am not so sure I like the Tofutsies. I like the way the sock came out and I like the way it feels once it's knitted up, but knitting with it is odd. It has no stretch to it and is very thin. Also, I had a bit of trouble with splitting. Maybe I'm just picky, but I wouldn't buy it again.
