Entrelac socks, and silk socks
I've only completed two pairs in June, but they were done on size 0 needles, so took a lot longer than normal.
The first pair was in Regia silk, for a co-worker. They're a plain-vanilla pair, except for a little cable up both sides.
The second pair is based on Eunny Jang's entrelac socks pattern in Interweave Knits Spring 07 issue. Way back when she was blogging about entrelac socks (more here), she did them in Trekking, and I fell in love with that look, much more than the contrasted colours that ended up in the IK design.
Trekking doesn't actually repeat, so I'm totally surprised that the colours of the socks actually match each other. I was expecting to have more fraternal-looking socks.
Another photo, another mod: I didn't do the cast-off triangles but left the squares because I like the cuff better that way. The other major mod was to switch to size 1 needles after the heel. Otherwise, it was really hard to get the socks past my ankles.

Love the socks, especially the silk ones. How did you like the regia silk? What size needle did you use, and what gauge?
I loved working with the Regia silk. It was on a size 0 because I want these to last a long time for their recipient.
I think I got around 10 sts/inch -- I don't have them to measure now because they've been gifted.
I'm now shopping for more of the Regia silk -- Astrid's Dutch Obessions has it for the best price I've found, even including the higher shipping cost.
